Your biggest client can be your biggest challenge.
Over the years, I’ve learnt that size doesn’t define stability, risk is risk, whether you’re working with a global brand or a small, growing company.
In business, everyone has an agenda. There’s always a left hand reaching out in collaboration and a right hand quietly protecting its own interests. That’s just reality, and understanding it is part of becoming a better leader.
That’s why I founded HDL.
Our logo, two hands meeting, stands for collaboration, respect, and protection. Between those hands lies something far more valuable than contracts: trust.
That symbol reminds me daily that success isn’t about scale or speed. It’s about knowing where your two hands are, what you give, what you protect, and who you choose to stand beside when things get hard.
I built the HDL Algorithm with a truly dedicated group of people.
It shaped who we are, not where we are or what we do. Our products weren’t born from opportunity, but from conviction. They were built because it was the right thing to do at the time.
For a long time, I kept myself outside those two holding hands, believing it was my role to protect the team, the company, and the culture from outside agendas.
But recently, I’ve felt those same hands protecting me.
It’s been an eye-opener, a moment where I’ve truly seen the strength and unity that HDL represents.
No matter how big the client or how tough the situation, nothing can break what we’ve built, because it’s rooted in our people, our purpose, and our trust.
We might fall. But sometimes, you have to fall to rise higher.
That’s not just physics, that’s business, when done right!
